Many liberals disagree with the libertarian stance on gun ownership. I couldn’t, in good faith, ignore this subject, because its a pretty big issue within the libertarian movement.

Most libertarians believe that firearms are essential in fighting tyranny and crime. We’ve learned that the less you have to depend on the government for protection, the more protected you’ll be.

Generally, we don’t envision a wild-west type scenario in a modern world. We just want to be able to protect ourselves.

After all, if a criminal breaks into your house and has a gun and you don’t, you are the one who doesn’t have the gun. That doesn’t usually end well.
